Ananias Ndlovu wins 2025 Influential Men and Artes Award
The Association of Independent Publishers (AIP) is proud to congratulate Mr. Ananias Ndlovu on being awarded the 2025 Influential Men and Artes Award in recognition of his exceptional contributions to community journalism and the amplification of marginalized voices. Mr. Ndlovu is the founder of Naledi News, a bilingual community newspaper that serves the Bojanala Platinum District in the North West Province. Since its establishment in 2017, Naledi News has become a trusted platform for local storytelling and community engagement. In addition to his editorial work, Mr. Ndlovu has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to media development through the creation of initiatives such as Letlhabile Community Radio and the North West Press Club.
Reflecting on the award, Mr. Ndlovu shared: “I’m deeply honoured to be recognized among the most influential men in our country. To my fellow publishers, let’s continue to innovate, stay relevant, and uplift each other. Our collective voice shapes the future—let’s keep pushing forward.”
