Digital News Transformation Fund (DNTF) Letter to Stakeholders

The Digital News Transformation Fund (DNTF) is strengthening transparency following recent public commentary. The DNTF confirms the fairness, independence, and integrity of the 2025 adjudication process. This round allocated R10.7 million, funding 21 fully approved projects out of 164 applications received. The process involved an independent adjudication committee and effective governance safeguards. The DNTF Board is committing to publishing a factual summary of the process and reviewing policies to ensure continued clarity.
