Press Statement – Board and AGM Updates – 16 Feb 2026

Dear Members,

The AIP Board recently convened for its strategic planning meeting (3–5 February 2026), followed by the Annual General Meeting on 6 February 2026, where members adopted the organisation’s new Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI).

Key resolutions were taken regarding the Digital News Transformation Fund (DNTF), individual membership fees for the Press Council of South Africa (PCSA), and the launch and reorganisation of important AIP subcommittees central to our work.
